What is a Food Desert?
Low- income communities without ready access to healthy and affordable foods. Effects 23.5 million Americans (including 6.5 million children. Occurs both in urban and rural areas. Connected to poor diet, higher levels of obesity & other diet-related diseases (such as Diabetes, Heart Disease).

Our Story
Liberation Gardens started in 2016 with the purpose of spreading love and knowledge to disenfranchised neighborhoods. Two revolutionary spirits found beauty in an abandoned junk-filled piece of land on the lot of a historical church and liberated it. Providing healthy herbs and vegetables to the church and community. Since then, Liberation Gardens has built a team that has fully committed themselves to building a healthier community. The work of the Liberation Garden team remains a doing of passion, obedience, a connection with nature and ancestral guidance.

Nutricide is the deliberate and systematic alteration of foods/water in order to cause spiritual, mental, physical diseases, an genetic mutations, and/or death.

Our Garden Keep up services helps you protect your labor or financial investment, by keeping plants healthy and catching problems early. In addition build strong relationships with nature and food. Liberation provides all services from a collective, spiritual and healing perspective. We strive to provide up-keep services for those who don’t have the time or physically capability to keep up their gardens. Garden Consultation
In-home consultations are a great way for us to provide high quality advice. The ability to see the garden, the soil, the irrigation, the sunlight and the plants firsthand is very helpful. Do be aware, that this is not a professional design service. We can provide ideas during a consultation, but a professional design is a much more time-consuming and thoughtful investment.
